Wee Forest Folk® is a small family business in Massachusetts that delights in producing a line of miniatures, most of which are mice! This year Wee Forest Folk celebrates its 46th year creating these enchanting little works of art! Each Wee Forest Folk piece begins as an original clay piece which is hand sculpted by one of three sculptors in the Petersen family. The finished sculpture is molded and hand cast at the "mouse factory" in Carlisle, MA. Carefully selected artists flawlessly paint each one by hand bringing to life a sweet little mouse personality. Wee Forest Folk began as a cottage industry in 1972 and it continues to this day. Pageant Stable, two angels on the straw roof are dressed in cream, gold wings and a gold star. Artist initials AP, and sticker with 1987 Annette Petersen. Chris-Mouse Pageant Joseph is in pale yellow and light brown and holding a staff, Mary is a in rose-pink gown and blue hooded cape, and the sleeping baby is bundled in pale blue on a straw manger. Brown "wood" base, has a "48" sticker and another sticker with original price.

There are 2 tiny chips in the glaze on the back side of Mary & Joseph. Wise Man with Turban is in a blue robe with gold trim, white jeweled turban, and holding a gold jar with red top. Initials AP under base, sticker with "1985 Annette Petersen". Wise Man in Robe is in a white robe with gold trim and a headpiece with purple and red jewels.

Wise Man Kneeling is wearing a deep rose-pink robe with gold stripes and gold turban. Shepard Kneeling is dressed in a olive/gray robe. Shepard Standing mouse in olive robe standing with crook.
